So the passport office claim my wifes confirmation of citizenship certificate is a photo copy! Now that being one of the most expensive pieces of paper I own I doubt it. The cost of all the visa's etc. mean I know we sent the original.
So we will see if on Monday they don't actually check with the Home Office and rely on a piece of paper which is probably easy to fake. Shocking that they can't even have a database between two government departments, but can charge a fortune to apply a passport.
So easy to get in the country but impossible to leave! They can't make you pay tax once you have left...
